Tisvilde Stejleplads

At Tisvilde Stejleplads, a small wood-fired sauna sits among the colourful bathing huts, a stone's throw from the water. Genvind din styrke hosts sauna gus here during the winter season from October to May. Each session lasts about two hours with three rounds of gus and breaks in between. The gus combines the heat of the sauna with breathing exercises, calm and a dip in the sea if you like. There are at most six guests per session, so there is plenty of room on the benches and time to unwind. The sauna is to the left of the pier, between the bathing huts by the large white flagpole, not down by the big car park. There are no changing rooms, so come in a robe and bath shoes. Swimwear is optional.
