Sauna Svala - Ishøj Strandpark

At Sauna Svala, sauna gus is a unique, holistic, and meditative experience that goes beyond traditional heat and scents. Led by the Icelandic gus master Svala, you are guided through breathwork, mindfulness, and sensory rituals that soothe your nervous system and connect body, mind, and spirit. Svala herself started Sauna Svala after a period of stress and has a personal desire to help others find peace and balance. This is a mobile sauna venue that operates from various scenic locations such as Ishøj Strandpark, Sluseholmen, Amager Strand, and La Banchina, always with the option of a refreshing dip in the water between gus rounds. In addition to the classic sauna gus sessions, Sauna Svala also offers a special Detox gus, designed to renew both body and soul through detox juice and body scrub, as well as an atmospheric full moon gus with a cacao ceremony. For those wishing to delve deeper into the art of sauna, a comprehensive gus master course is offered. Each session includes three gus rounds, snacks, and drinking water, and the meditative atmosphere is supported by specially selected music. Sauna Svala offers a deeply personal and transformative sauna gus experience, where nature and the meditative element are central. It is an invitation to step out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life and find inner peace and connection with yourself. You can continuously check the calendar on the page to see where and when sauna gus is offered in Ishøj Strandpark, Sluseholmen, Amager Strand, and La Banchina.
