Sauna 85 on Rentemestervej is tucked away behind Kaffe Departementet in the Nordvest quarter. Here, in one of Copenhagen's most creative and unpolished districts, the studio has found its natural home. The concept is simple: three rounds of heat with essential oils and atmospheric music, punctuated by breaks at two cold-water tubs and three cold showers. Sauna 85 itself calls it forced meditation.
Each
sauna gus session is shaped by the gus master behind the oven. Through the Sauna 85 app, you can choose the gus master that matches your preferred style and intensity. This provides an experience that varies each time. No subscription is required. Single tickets and punch cards are shared across all Sauna 85 locations, including Yderlandsvej on Amager and Aarhus.
The studio also offers gus master courses, where you learn fanning techniques and the interplay of essential oils with the
